Accessing Guidance You Probably Don’t Think You Have

Special $15 class

Saturday, January 24, 10:00 – 11:30am ET

Online only

Recording available for 14 days

The class is a practice working with guidance and the part of you that already knows. Because everything in the Universe is connected, we’ll use a Kriya called Adjusting the Centers of Interconnection and Intercommunication.

There is a part of us that knows the way, knows what to do, even as we’re saying we don’t know. Yoga and Science maintain that everyone has this ability because this faculty comes standard with a body. But when it’s not used or noticed, it shrinks, just like any other shunned part of you.

It is not a class to convince you that humans have such a faculty; it’s a class where we’ll practice locating inner guidance, and that will be different for each person. You are practicing noticing what’s already there. It’s sensing the quieter intelligence that lies beneath effort and thought, just like you know how to breathe, or when something is too much or just right.

Kundalini Yoga & Beyond

Six Saturday sessions from January through June

January 10, February 7, March 7, April 11, May 9, June 6.

Livestream or in-person at ITEA in Louisville, CO.

Course Description

Most everyone wants to improve, to be more of what they prefer and less of what they don’t. We long to expand, to “grow.”

Trouble is, it’s more fun to imagine it than to change the attitudes and ways of thinking that might be called for to attain it. We don’t yet know how to make the process easy. It’s generally slow going.

Kartar and Jacob Rudolph, a Boulder teacher, put this course together so participants would have a chance to be very different people, have different ways of using their minds, different outlooks on life, with a sense of a personal guidance, and ways to slip into a more subtle sense of interacting with the earth and people.

You’ll use acupuncture meridian charts to understand how kundalini yoga works, learn a whole new way to approach meditation, find a new understanding of how to loosen the entanglements of stress by studying the biology of the brain, and a new way to use parts of the mind presently considered EXTRAsensory.

The course also includes a section on surrender and vulnerability, what Brene Brown calls the skill most likely to supercharge growing.

You’ll use a course workbook, several required texts, and multiple YouTube and Ted Talk videos.

The course format is 6 Saturday sessions, live or on Zoom, one a month starting January 10. Each session is 6 hours, including a lunch break.

All sessions are recorded. Between course dates, small groups meet on Zoom.

The Themes

Session 1. Orientation and Subtle Energy

Core idea: There is already a path. Life has an intrinsic order and intelligence that can be sensed through subtle awareness.

Guiding question: What if everything you need to find your way is already inside you?

Session 2. Daily Practice and Breath

Core idea: Practice is the bridge between intention and embodiment. The breath is the thread that unites body, mind, and Spirit.

Guiding question: How does daily practice reorganize your inner and outer life?

Session 3. Surrender and Transformation

Core idea: Vulnerability is the gateway to transformation. Through surrender, we enter the field of the Infinite, which does the real work of transformation.

Guiding question: Where in your life are you willing to stop resisting and allow healing to happen?

Session 4. Mind and Sound

Core idea: The mind can create chaos or coherence. Sound organizes consciousness and can tune us to the architecture of the Soul.

Guiding question: What new patterns of thought and sound are you ready to resonate with?

Session 5. Intention and Love

Core idea: Love is alignment with the Source of all power. Intention directed from the heart harmonizes us with the Unified Field within which all life exists.

Guiding question: How can I align my will with All That Is and let love lead the way?

Session 6. Intuition and Integration

Core idea: The awakening mind perceives a deeper unity of all things. Simplicity, trust, and intuition will reveal that the whole is present in every part.

Guiding question: What simple truths will guide your practice and your life moving forward?

Expect rigorous challenge, new and sometimes counterintuitive information, support while you experiment with new ideas, growth, and becoming a different version of yourself.
